USA Hockey has for years advocated the use of cross and half ice hockey for our younger players amidst pushback from some coaches, parents and other so-called "experts". But now with the help of the NHL and the use of the same technology analytics used at the highest levels of our game, the data is clear that smaller surfaces enhance the development of our young athletes.
